Lussier graduates from Chaplin School
Army Pvt. Daniel R. Lussier recently graduated from the chaplin assistant advanced individual
training course at the Chaplain School, Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina.
The course emphasized religious support, development of interpersonal skills, and unit
ministry support to soldiers and family members. The support training provided services to a
battlefield environment and battle fatigue casualty care.
Religious support classes taught students to prepare alters for Protestant, Catholic, Jewish and
Orthodox worship services and stressed the importance of being knowledgeable to all faith groups
represented in the Army.
Lussier is the son of Teri L. Nyguard and Max Lussier both of Bemidji.
He is a 2002 graduate of Bemidji High School.
