Cobenais scores 19 in Bears 103-43 bombing of Blackduck

   Duane Cobenais scored 19 points in Clearbrook-Gonvick’s 103-43 bombing of the Blackduck Drakes on Friday, December10, 2003 at home.

      The Bears became the first area team to top the century mark and lifted their record to 3-1 on the season, losing only to Red Lake. Blackduck remains winless at 0-4.

      Clearbrook-Gonvick scored 26 in the first quarter, and 28 in the second, leading 54-30 by the end of the first half.

      The Bears put in 27 more in the third and 22 in the final quarter for 47 more points, while Blackduck could only put together 13 more points of offense in the last two quarters.
