Richard White

 

Richard Lee White, 40, of Duluth, Minnesota died on Wednesday, April 13th near Duluth, Minnesota.

Traditional funeral services in the Indian custom will be held on Friday, April 22nd at 1:00 P.M. at the Ponemah Community Center in Ponemah, Minnesota.  A wake will begin on Wednesday, April 20th at 1:00 P.M. at the Ponemah Community Center, and will continue until the funeral.  Burial will be at his Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah. Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck is assisting the family with arrangements.

Active Casketbearers will be Daniel Terry, Brian Rosera, Perry White, Jr., Nick Spears, Orville White, Sr., and Chuck White, Sr..

Honorary Casketbearers will be Ralph Spears, Jr., Burt White, Leroy White, Sr., Leroy White, Jr., Arnie White, Lindsey White, Quentin White, and Jerry White

Richard was born on August 20th, 1964 at Minneapolis, MN, the son of Wayne Ufford and Geraldine White.  He was raised and attended schools in Moose Lake, MN.  He moved to Denver, Co for about 5 years and worked construction.  He then moved to Duluth and has worked in construction.  He was a talented artist, and he enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and listening to music.

He is survived by his brother, Burt White of Glenwood City, WI; his grandmother, Audrey White of Ponemah; 3 uncles, Leroy White, and Chuck White of Ponemah, and Orville White of Red Lake; 2 aunts, Virginia Spears and Brenda White of Ponemah; his nephew, Daniel Terry of Star Praire, WI; 2 nieces, Mikealine Wallgren of New Richmond, WI and Tina Terry of Mankato, MN; and 2 children.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his grandfather Sam White.
