Martha Florence “Pretty” Kelly-May, 86 of Red Lake , MN died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Jourdain/Perpich Extended Care Facility in Red Lake , MN

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, April 19, 2007 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Red Lake , MN with Rev. Pat Sullivan officiating.   A wake will begin Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Little Rock Center beginning at 1:00 pm and will go until the time of services on Thursday.  Snustad Funeral Home of Blackduck, MN. assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born October 7, 1920 in Red Lake , MN the daughter of Susan “Ma Kelly” Howard- Fairbanks and James Kelly, Sr.  She lived all her life in Red Lake She enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing and playing with her grandchildren and raising her grandson Eddie Bear May.   

She is survived by her children:  Brenda May, Marlene Thompson, Joseph May, Jr., Robert May, Sr., Miles May and Paula May-Gil-Garcia:  And numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph May, Sr., 3 children Arnold May, Charles May and Reginald May and her brothers and sisters Edith, Jenny, Armella, Morris, George, Norman, Charles and James Kelly, Jr. and 2 grandsons.

Honorary Casketbearers will be all of the staff and residents of the Jourdain/Perpich Extended Care Facility and Rita Weise, Jennifer May, Lisa Thompson, Earlene May, Leah Clark, Marsha May and Heather May.

Active Casketbearers will be her Keith May, Sr., Donavan May, Arnold Thompson, David Clark, Edward “Eddie Bear” May, Zachary May with alternates Antone Thompson and Fernando May-Gil-Garcia, Arnold May and Charles May.

Memorials are preferred.
