Margaret Sayers

Margaret Sayers, 89, of Ponemah, whose Indian name is “Awasigiizhgok,” which means “other world woman,” died on Friday, March 23, 2007, at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. A wake will be held today and Wednesday at the Ponemah Community Center in Ponemah. Burial will be held in family burial grounds. The Thomson-Doughterty Funeral Home of Minneapolis assisted the family with arrangements.
