LAWRENCE LOUD
Lawrence “Larry” Wayne Loud, 67, of Bemidji, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at his
home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Antipas Episcopal Church
in Redby with the Rev. Johnson Loud Jr. officiating. A wake will begin today at 4 p.m.
and continue until the time of the services. Burial following cremation will be at
Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home
of Bemidji.
Pallbearers will be Phillip W. May, Christian Nicholson, Mario Nicholson, Matthew
Torres, Robert Loud Jr. and Gilbert Juarez.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Loud, Jerry Northbird, Joseph Thunder, Duane
Pemberton, Joe Holstein, James Garrigan, Toby Donnell, Pat Brown, Clarence Brown,
Simon Beaulieu and Tommy “Barney” Reyes.
Lawrence was born Sept. 9, 1936, to William and Ida )Beaulieu) Loud in Red Lake.
He attended school in Red Lane and graduated from the Red Lake High School. He
enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served from 1955 until 1962. He married Wilma
Bunker on Feb. 2, 1963, in Bemidji. He worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs until he
retired in 1983.
He enjoyed listening to country music, walking, bicycling, and reading.
He is survived by his daughter, Terri Lynn Loud of Inver Grove Heights, Minn;
special son, Ryan Lee Needham of Bemidji; sister, Bernice Donnell of Redby; brother,
David Loud of Minneapolis; and a granddaughter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter, three brothers, and one
sister.
