Jeffrey James Weise, 16, of Red Lake died Monday, March 21, 2005 in Red Lake, MN.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Monday, March 28, 2005 at the St. Mary’s Catholic church in Red Lake, MN with Father Patrick Sullivan officiating. A wake will begin at his
grandmother’s house in Red Lake on Saturday afternoon, March
26, 2005 and will
continue until the time of the services. Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Mission Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral
Home of Bemidji.
He was born August 8, 1988, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Daryl Allen “Dash” Lussier, Jr.
and Joanne Weise. He lived with his father from the
age of 3 months old to 3 years old, when he moved to the Minneapolis area with his mother until he was 9. During
this time he spent his summers with his aunt Shauna Lussier
and her children. From the age of 10 he lived with his grandmother Shelda Lussier until his death.
He was loved, and had many friends in the neighborhood he lived in. He enjoyed
playing guitar, and making animated cartoons. He was a very gifted writer as
well as artist. His intelligence and talents were recognized by many teachers
and friends.
He is survived by: his mother Joanne Weise of
Minneapolis; Paternal Grandmother: Shelda Lussier of Red Lake, MN; Maternal Grandmother: Rita Weise of Red Lake, MN; Cousins which he considered his
brothers, and sisters: Dion Neadea,
Ashley Cobenai, Vanessa Cobenai,
David Cobenais Jr., Shanae Lussie, Thomas May Jr., and Tammy May--all of Red Lake, MN;
Sister: Daphne Desjarlait of Minneapolis, MN;
Brother: Sebastian Desjarlait of Minneapolis, MN;
Aunts: Jamie Weise of Mille Lacs,
Becky Weise of Red Lake, MN, Shauna Lussier of Red Lake, MN, Tammy Lussier
of Red Lake, MN, Marcy Torrez of Minneapolis, MN, and Michelle May of Red Lake,
MN; Uncles: James Weise Jr. of Lawrence, Kansas,
Devon Lussier of Red Lake, MN, and David Wind of Red
Lake, MN; And his faithful companion Pepper.
He was preceded in death by: his father, both grandfathers James Weise Sr. and Daryl Lussier, Sr.
