Ernest ‘Ernie” Wayne DeClusin
Ernest
“Ernie” Wayne DeClusin, 35, of Bemidji, died on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at his
home as a result of a house fire. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on
Friday at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji with Kathy Molitor officiating. Burial will be in DeClusin Family Cemetery
in Turtle River.
Honorary
pallbearers will be Benjamin Lowry, Jay DeClusin,
Larry DeClusin, Ernie Jr., Ricky Steele, James Steele
and Roger Steele.
He was born
on March 16, 1971, to Frank and Sharon DeClusin in Cass Lake.
He was a lumberjack, fisherman, hunter and construction worker and loved to be
outside. He attended and graduated from the Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig School. He moved to Minneapolis and worked in construction. He
moved back to Bemidji
in 2000 and has lived here since. He had many friends and enjoyed visitors.
He is
survived by his parents of Bemidji;
children, Ernest Jr. and Cecelia Mae DeClusin; two
brothers; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
