Ella Lynn (Fisherman) Foster

 

 

Ella Lynn (Fisherman) Foster, 38, of Bemidji, died Tuesday, June 24, 2009, at her home.

Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, June 29, in the Ball Club Community Center, Ball Club, and will continue through the night until the Traditional Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the Ball Club Community Center. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Ball Club.

Arrangements are by the Rowe Funeral Home, Grand Rapids.

She was born in 1971, to Leonard J. Fisherman, Sr. and Marella “Melody” Wilson in Cass Lake. She grew up in Ball Club and attended schools in Deer River and Flandreau, S.D., graduating from Deer River High School in 1990. She later attended Norwest Technical College in Bemidji. On Feb. 14, 1994, she married Harry “Pete” Foster in Virginia Beach, Va. They lived in the Bemidji area. She was a member of the Fond du Lac Tribe.

She is survived by her husband ; children, Darian, Lukas, and Jadyn Foster both at home; sisters, Darla (David) Elletson of Deer River and Jenny (Daniel) Rameris-Sotello of Waseca, Minn.; brother, Lenny Fisherman Jr.; mother, Marella "Melody" Dodson of Deer River; father, Lenny (Anne) Fisherman Sr. of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Jerry Dodson; and grandfather, Allen Wilson Sr.
