Proud to be a Las Vegas native, he was born at Women's Hospital Nov. 3, 1977. He is survived by his four-year-old son, Douglas Michael Needham of Orange Park, Fla.; his mother and stepfather, Sherri and Mark Elson of Las Vegas; his father, Douglas William Needham Sr. of Fort Ripley, Minn.; grandfather, Wayne K. Byrd of Rocky Mount, N.C.; grandmother, Helen Needham of Red Lake, Minn.; great-grandmother, Helen K. Byrd of Johnson City, Tenn.; one sister, Lisa M. Carter of Las Vegas; two brothers, David W. Needham (Stephanie) of Las Vegas and Brandon J. Dass of Savannah, Ga.; two nephews, Tristan and Seth Matthew; and one niece, Kyleigh Nicole of Las Vegas, all of whom he loved very much.

He leaves behind many friends and extended family in Tennessee, North Carolina, Ohio, California and Florida. Doug had such a big heart and he will be sorely missed forever by those who knew and loved him. Services are pending. You may contact the family at (702) 579-9797.
