The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 29, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Cass Lake. Visitation will start at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake and continue until the service on Monday.

He was born March 7, 1979 in Bemidji and raised in the Cass Lake area. He worked at Northern Lights and at the Palace Casino. He loved spending time with his children.

He is survived by his sons, Darian James Fisherman Jr. of Redby and Tomi James Rayvon Fisherman of Bemidji; daughters Dasia Jade and Nitayah Love Fisherman of Cass Lake; brothers, Daryl John Fisherman of Illinois and LeRoy and Donald Fairbanks of Cass Lake; sisters, Kari (Merrick) Fisherman and Tara (Jordan) Hare both of Cass Lake and Francis (Tyron) Fisherman of Bemidji; three uncles; two aunts; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William and Sara Whitebird; grandfather; Donald “Duck” Fisherman; five uncles, a brother and special uncle; Donald “Skel” Fisherman.
