Daniel “Chucky” Charles Bellanger

Daniel “Chucky” Bellanger, 29 of  Bemidji, formerly of Minneapolis,  died Sunday, May 29, 2005  in Red Lake, MN.

Funeral Services will be 10:00am Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the Redby Community Center with Spiritual Leaders Tommy Stillday, Anna Gibbs, and Greg Kingbird officiating. A wake will begin Wednesday evening, June 1, 2005 at the Redby Community Center and continue until the time of the service.  Interment will be at the Bellanger Family Burial Grounds.  Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

He was born March 1, 1976, in Minneapolis, MN the son of Daniel and Roxanne (Bunker) Bellanger.

He was raised and educated in Minneapolis. He graduated from the City Inc. He worked summers in the Twin Cities as a furniture mover. He just finished his first quarter of college studying Native American culture at the Red Lake Community College, and was going to continue in the fall.  Chucky enjoyed reading, writing, computers, arts& crafts, rap, pow-wows, sports & movies on TV.  He was a dedicated father, and loved to spend time with his children.

He is survived by:his children, Leah, Laura, Danielle, Dominic of Minneapolis; Special Friend,    Tina Thompson of Minneapolis, MN; Father, Dan Bellanger of Bemidji; Mother,; Roxanne Bunker Bellanger of Moorhead, MN; Brother, Ed Bellanger of Bemidji, MN; Sisters,        Angela Bellanger of Brainerd, MN; April Bellanger of Cloquet, MN; Nephews, Nieces, many, many cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandfather Daniel Bellanger, and his maternal grandparents Florence and Charles Bunker.

Active Casketbearers will be: Mike Fairbanks, Hunter Parker, Dallas Thompson, David Jourdain, Rob Eaglehawk, Joe Roberts, Joe Bellanger, Todd Belland Jr., alternates: Will Chargeing Crow, Kyle Swenson, and Dwight Bellanger.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Chucky’s relatives, mostly nieces and nephews.
