Betty Ann Staples

Betty Ann Staples, Indian name Min-Di-Moo-Ye, which means Old Lady, 71, of Cass Lake, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at her home in Cass Lake. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake with the Rev. Harold Eaglebull and the Rev. John Rock officiating. A wake will be begin at 4 p.m. today at the Veteran’s Memorial Building, and will continue until the time of the service. Burial will be in the spring under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Cass Lake.
