The first Tribal Council meeting with Chairman Jourdain at Red Lake Tribal Headquarters, began about 1 p.m. after the swearing in ceremony and the luncheon at the Humanities.
Some of the items included the hiring of the Chairman's staff, the Resolution of Appreciation for former Chairman and Hereditary Chief George "Billy" King, insurance issues, a presentation by U.S. Attorney Heffelfinger, and agenda items from tribal programs.
Leah Perkins was hired as the Chairman's Executive Administrator, Thelma May the Administrative Secretary, and Tim Sumner, the Chairman's Personal Assistant. |
