An appreciation luncheon was held on Wednesday, August 11, 2004, for former Chairman George "Billy" King, by one of Red Lake's Enterprises, Red Lake Builders, Incorporated, at their headquarters near the south boundry on Highway 89.
Guest included Tribal Council Members and Board of Directors, along with the staff of Red Lake Builders.
Red Lake Builders Program Manager, Gordon Jallen, told King they appreciated him for taking on the responsibilities of the Chairman's Office, and that it had worked out well for their organization and other programs since he was appointed Chairman after the passing of his brother, Chairman Gerald F. "Butch" Brun in 2003. |
