Little Rock garbage site moved to new location
On Tuesday, September 18, 2007, the Red Lake Transfer Station moved the site of the Little Rock dumping area--which was located along Minnesota Highway 1 about one mile west of the Circle Pines junction--to a new area about 1/2 mile from the Circle Pines area along the Gonvick Truck Trail.

The Redby dumping area will also be moved on Monday to an area east of Redby on the Old Nebish Road.
The old Little Rock dumping area now has a sign that states the site is closed, with directions to the new site, 6/10s of a mile past Circle Pines on the Gonvick Truck Trail.
Small signs are posted leading to the new site, with one at the Circle Pines Junction.
Another sign is located just before you get to the Gonvick Truck Trail.
Another sign located at the roadway to the new Little Rock dumping site.
