Mike,
I was just wondering where the birthday ad page went? I seen some of the things posted on there; most were good and a handful were not. I just wonder why people have to hate on their--on race--or hate anyone for that matter, and then post it on the internet page thats ment for good things.
Its people like that, that ruin it for everyone else, Because of that I no longer can post birthday wishes to my family and friends. It was a HAPPY ADS page and not a hate page. Iit was there so that a person could wish ALL their loved ones a Happy Birthday and Anniversary etc.
I sure do hope its up and running soon because there are more Birthdays coming up, and I always post them a Happy Birthday on RLNN.com. I enjoy the rest of the site also.
Thank you for your time. A rlnn.com reader (Name withheld at their request.)
In response to this letter, I am currently working on another program for this section of rlnn.com. It will probably be similar to this last page, but I need to have more control over the page--items need approval before they are posted to make sure it doesn't turn into a "page of hatred" towards others.
Originally I had hoped people would use the page with respect--although I had anticipated problems because the program allowed for immediate postings without my approval--and I went ahead and allowed it because I figured I could trust people. I guess I learned that "trust" is easlier said than done and more difficult for some than others.
In any event, there will be another page opening soon for the purpose of wishing good things to others--hopefully during the week of September 26, 2005.
