Two crews totaling 40 people are being dispatched by federal agencies and the Menominee tribe to aid victims of the hurricane, the U.S. Forest Service said Tuesday.
One 20-person crew is working in southern Mississippi to distribute food and unload trucks.
Another 20-person crew is en route to San Antonio, Texas, and will work at a distribution center and possibly help transport victims of the storm, the forest service said.
They work for the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, the National Park Service, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Menominee tribe.
