Mom, you are now five years in the heavens up above. Five long years have passed this world since you’ve gone from me and many others. Those years have been long and brought many changes. Your babies are now grown and having babies of their own. I often sit and wonder if you were still around what the times would have brought. I wish you were still here. Five years and not a day has passed that you haven’t crossed my mind. I think about you daily.
I wanted to write to tell you Happy Mother’s Day and let you know that you were the best mother anyone could have been given. I thank God he gave you to me for those 15 years.
Mom, I love and miss you more than anything and even more with each day that passes. Each passing day brings us closer to the day we will once again meet.
