Red Lake Elementary Hoops at the Bemidji Bombers Tournament

      The RLE hoops team traveled to Bemidji on Saturday, March 12 for a basketball tournament. Although they didn’t bring home nay trophies, they did bring home some great memories. The kids got some valuable experience on the court with two games against a very good Grand Rapids team, and gave the Bemidji 2 squad a competitive game, before running out of gas, which could have been caused by the teams between games activities, as the pictures will prove.

       Off the court there was a pool party at the Northern Inn, hosted by the Verdell Beaulieu Jr. family. Many thanks to them for that, as well as Mary Graves and Patty Beaulieu for the snacks at the pool party. As the pictures will tell the kids had a fun time and will probably remember the pool more than the games.

       Our next venture is to Crookston this upcoming Saturday for a 4^th grade tournament and who knows maybe an evening at the 7 Clans Waterpark! Many thanks go out to the people who came out and supported these kids on this experience, and those that made it possible behind the scenes.
