Fly your Veterans memorial flag @ Red Lake Independence Day Celebration
If you wish to fly your family Veterans Memorial Flag, it is your responsibility to inquire with Harlan Stillday @ Home 218/554-7458 or work 218/679-2202 work cell 218/556-4542 0r 218/368-5834
It will be your responsibility to have your Veterans Memorial flag at the powwow grounds @ 10:00am on day you are scheduled in for flag raising. In the evening right after Grand Entry or right before the sun goes down, you will need to be there for the daily flag lowering. You will need to have yourself or another family member there at the flag raising and lowering to raise and lower your memorial flag. When you are assigned to schedule, you will need a brief bio of your memorial flag as this bio will be announced during daily Grand entries. You are also required to pick your flag up as the Red Lake Nation Pow-wow is not responsible for any flags.
