Attention Red Lake Nation Youth
On Thursday May 26 at the special council meeting the Red Lake tribal council formally established the
Red Lake Nation Youth Council. Our mission is to foster the spiritual, mental,
physical, and social development of Red Lake Nation youth and to develop future
tribal leaders through direct involvement with youth.
The youth council will be modeled similar to the tribal
council with representation from all districts with a youth advisory committee.
If you are between the ages of 13 to 21 and would like to
get involved or are just curious about the youth council, we will be hosting an
organizational meeting on June 16th at 1:00 p.m. in the tribal council headquarters.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
