I would like to thank all the good people that made the 2007 Red Lake Nation Independence Day Celebration a huge success.

Chi Miigwech to all the pow-wow committee members, Thank you Master of ceremonies arena directors, all drum, dance and singing judges. Thank you to our spiritual advisor, Thank you to the VFW 6889, Thank you to the families who flew their memorial flags. Thank you EMT’s for your immediate response when called on. Thank you to the Red Lake Police department for being there at all times. Thank you all the hard working security team, I know you all were on your feet for many hours through out the hot weather. Chi miigwech to the folks who spent the late nights cleaning the pow-wow grounds, we received many positive comments on the cleanliness of pow-wow grounds. Also thank you those who helped haul garbage on Sunday after celebration.
