The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management wishes to inform the public that Wednesday, July 4, 2007, is the regularly scheduled day to test weather warning sirens. We conduct a monthly test the first Wednesday of every month to assure that they are working properly should a storm occur requiring the use of sirens.
Therefore, we want the public to know, when they are out and about enjoying the 4th of July festivities, that sirens will sound at approximately 1:00 PM that day. Make sure and check the sky for any signs of storms should it, coincidentally, be a real weather alert.
