Letter:
Minnesota is abundant with lakes, so fish elsewhere

With all of the controversy surrounding the fishing limit on
Red Lake,
I feel the need to remind some of you that Minnesota
is abundant with lakes, and should you feel so unhappy with the gift you have
been given, then go somewhere else.
Some of the letters I have read recently are ap-palling.
Some going as far as proposing a border patrol for Red
Lake because of a fishing limit.
You sound like spoiled whiney children to me. The only reason you have the
access that you do, is because is was taken in the
late 1800s when white people were burning the forests of that are-a and
threatening to burn all of it down if they couldn’t have it. Now you want
border security.
Too bad the native Americans didn’t have
immigration laws and border security back in the day; we might be able to eat
the fish in all of the lakes in Minnesota.
