Hogansburg man arrested for ramming Tribal police cars with ATV

A Hogansburg
man was arrested last night for DWI, Criminal Mischief, and other charges after
being caught ramming Tribal police cars with an ATV.
State police in Massena arrested 22-year-old
Chance H. Thompson of
McDonald Road, Hogansburg yesterday on charges of
Aggravated DWI, Driving with BAC greater than .08%, Unregistered ATV, Operating
an ATV with No Helmet, 2nd degree Criminal Mischief, and Unlawful Possession of
Marijuana. Thompson was allegedly seen by Akwesasne
Tribal police repeatedly ramming his ATV into their police cars in the parking
lot of the police station.
Upon his arrest, Thompson was found to be in
possession of two buds of marijuana. He was arraigned in town of Bombay court and taken to Franklin County
jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
