2 sought for quizzing in Frias
slaying

Pascua Yaqui police
are looking for two men who may have information about the shooting death of
the tribal chairwoman's brother on New Year's Day.
Gabriel Frias,
32, died of gunshot wounds around 4 a.m. He had been found alive and conscious
on the reservation near West Los Reales Road and
South Camino de Oeste, but died shortly after medics
arrived, said FBI spokeswoman Deborah McCarley.
Gabriel Frias
is the brother of Chairwoman Herminia Frias.
The Police Department issued a bulletin
Wednesday, asking for help in locating Lorenzo Salinas Jr. and Samuel Andres Baltazar, both 20. Neither man has been named as a suspect
in the case.
Anyone with information is asked to
call either 88-CRIME or the department's 24-hour tip line at 879-5686.
A rosary for Frias is
scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday with the funeral at 9 a.m. Monday. Both rosary and
funeral will be at the Cristo Rey Church,
on the reservation at 7500 S. Camino Benem, near Los Reales and Mark roads.
