Red Eagle releases debut CD

DALLAS, TX -American Indian flutist Jay Red Eagle has released his debut CD, "Vision."

The CD is currently available at Cdbaby.com and will soon be available on several Internet music services such as AOL Radio, MusicMatch.com, iTunes.com, Napster, TowerRecords.com, etc.

Red Eagle is a member of the Cherokee tribe and plays the river cane and plains-style flute.  He loves to sit on the bank of the river or in the woods near his home in
Oklahoma while composing his music.

"I have several flutes, but my favorite is the Cherokee river cane made by Tommy Wildcat.  Sometimes I can be in a peaceful mood and play a peaceful song like 'Vision,' or I can be in a different mood and I'll come up with a song like 'Eagle' or 'Medicine Man.' Sometimes I want drums or a beat in the background and sometimes I want more, or nothing at all.  I also love traditional flute without anything added to it.  Either way, no other instrument sounds like a Native American flute. It's music is powerful enough to stand alone."
