FREE TRAINING

The Northern California Indian Development Council invites all community health care providers and educators to attend a free training in the Native American culturally relevant tobacco cessation program Second Wind. This program based on the American Cancer Society’s Fresh Start model prepares you to assist participants in creating individualized quit smoking plans, identify triggers, learn relaxation techniques and gaining emotional support.

Humboldt County training will take place on February 6h -7th at 241 F Street, Eureka. 

Del Notre training will take place on February 13th-14th at 1607 5th Street, Crescent City.
