| An open house was held for Red Lake's new Dialysis Unit at the Red Lake Hospital on Friday, January 7, 2004. Through a partnership with MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, Red Lake Hospital now has 5 Dialysis units that are capable of treating 40 patients weekly. Although they just have 1 patient currently using the service, they will eventually operate 6 days per week--Monday through Saturday. Dialysis patients from Red Lake had to travel elsewhere for these types of services. |
