Alex Neadeau, 14, of red Lake has been selected to participate in the Junior Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference in Washington, D.C. from January 18-21, 2005.
Neadeau will join nearly 400 middle school students from around the country for the inauguration of President George W. Bush.
In addition to participating in inaugural festivities, Neadeau and fellow participants will take part in activities aimed in introducing them to lobbying, creating a political platform and the Electoral College.
Neadeau is sponsored by the Red Lake Tribal College and New Beginnings of Redby. He is the son of Marilyn Spears and Roger Neadeau. |
