JOIN THE DFL PROGRESSIVE CAUCUS!

The DFL Progressive Caucus believes in an interdependent world that respects and upholds human rights, democratic processes, economic justice, peaceful resolutions to conflicts and environmental preservation and protections. It works within the general framework of the DFL to educate and mobilize fellow voters and to recruit, support and elect progressive candidates.

We believe that building this world requires a representative democracy that values the voice of an informed, grassroots electorate, including the underrepresented and disaffected, and provides an alternative to corporate control of the political process.

As part of the Progressive Caucus you will:

     train progressive advocates

     participate in teach-ins

     register voters

     identify progressive party leaders

     build coalitions with individuals and organizations particularly between election cycles

Current activities:

     organizing state-wide

     hosting DNC Listening Sessions-where Minnesota’s DNC members listen to your thoughts about the direction of our National Party

     hosting candidate forums

     supporting the Department of Peace Campaign

     identifying state DFL director candidates
