Letter: In taking Upper and Lower Red Lake, greed consumes

Anyone who has studied anything about American Indian history must be perplexed that Republican Michael Barrett and his supporters propose to take over total control of Upper and Lower Red Lake.

Can’t we be satisfied with 9,999 lakes? Greed consumes us. As Grant Utley so aptly put it, “Time marches on, but not very far!”
