GENERAL PURPOSE:
Responsible for tracking, receiving, storing, blending, measuring, recording, and conveying fuel used in Generation and mobile equipment operation. Maintains clear and timely communications with vendors, transportation suppliers, operations and environmental personnel, and management. Ensures compliance with all applicable safety regulations and environmental permit requirements. Coordinates and assists in proper ash storage and disposal. Performs preventative maintenance on mobile and fuel-conveying equipment. Maintains housekeeping standards that meet our insurance carrier recommendations.
Education:
High School/GED
Experience:
One or more years of related experience, this may include conveying or mobile equipment operation.
Special Requirements:
This position is currently working 12 hour rotating shifts. Requires completion of 2 year Fuels Technician apprenticeship. May be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position. Subject to audiometric and pulmonary function testing. Must successfully complete lifting assessment based on physical requirements of the position.
