ATTENTION SKATEBOARDERS! BRING YOUR BOARDS!
Douglas Miles, San Carlos Apache and owner of Apache Skateboards, will be visiting Red Lake, accompanied by an all native skate team consisting of youth ages 15 to 23.
A skate demo and presentation will be held at the parking lot between the agency and human resource buildings, near the tribal council offices on Monday, July 7th from noon to 5pm. Douglas’ presentation promotes healthy lifestyles through skateboarding, youth community involvement, tribal pride, creative goal setting, education, and more. The skate team will demonstrate various tricks using props built by local skaters!
BRING YOUR BOARDS! Youth of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend! Whether you are interested in learning to skate or have been skating for years, you are welcome to come check out this awesome native skate team!
