Community Patrol in
Ponemah & Redby
Project Safe Neighborhood
Teams, the Red Lake Department of Public Safety, Ponemah & Redby Board of
Directors and community volunteers have been planning and organizing Community
Patrol Projects. Patrolling will begin
in March 2008. We need you to get involved!
Crime and violence reduction is everyone’s responsibility.
Note: Red Lake
is in the beginning stages of organizing Community Patrol for their district as
well.
Red Lake Law Enforcement has
donated vehicles to both Ponemah and Redby.
The Red Lake Gaming Commission has donated a vehicle for Red Lake.
Red
Lake Law Enforcement will conduct two (2) Training Sessions for individuals
selected as Community Patrol Volunteers; March 10th & 12th
5-9 pm (Redby Center) and **March 17th &
19th 5-9 pm (Ponemah Center).
Patrols are required to attend 8 hours of training.
Persons interested in
conducting Community Patrols must successfully pass a background check. To volunteer in your community, sign up for
the training or for further information please call 679-3553.
