Project Safe Neighborhood Teams, the Red Lake Department of Public Safety, Ponemah & Redby Board of Directors and community volunteers have been planning and organizing Community Patrol Projects.  Patrolling will begin in March 2008.  We need you to get involved!  Crime and violence reduction is everyone’s responsibility.

Note: Red Lake is in the beginning stages of organizing Community Patrol for their district as well.

Red Lake Law Enforcement has donated vehicles to both Ponemah and Redby.  The Red Lake Gaming Commission has donated a vehicle for Red Lake.

Red Lake Law Enforcement will conduct two (2) Training Sessions for individuals selected as Community Patrol Volunteers; March 10th & 12th 5-9 pm (Redby Center) and **March 17th & 19th 5-9 pm (Ponemah Center).  Patrols are required to attend 8 hours of training.

Persons interested in conducting Community Patrols must successfully pass a background check.  To volunteer in your community, sign up for the training or for further information please call 679-3553.

**trainings dates had to be rescheduled
